Privacy Policy

Controller

This policy explains what we process, why, and which companies process it for us. It is written for the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

What we process

Account data: email, name, the role you choose (private or agent), agency name if you give one, and the time you accepted these terms.

Listing data: address, price, description, photos, and the facts you type or that a public building register returns for that address.

Enquiry data: the name, email, phone and message a visitor sends about a listing. The enquiry is stored for the listing owner and, when email delivery is configured, sent to that owner.

Technical data: the pages requested, and error logs kept by the host so we can fix faults. We do not sell personal data.

Why

Contract: to run your account, store drafts, publish listings and deliver enquiries.

Legitimate interest: to keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and understand errors.

Consent: the signup checkbox, and any optional cookie that is not strictly necessary. You can refuse non-essential cookies in the cookie banner.

Legal obligation: invoices and tax records for paid plans.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember the language you picked. The site works with those.

We do not set advertising cookies. If a non-essential cookie is added later, the banner will ask first.

Processors

Vercel Inc. hosts the site and stores application logs.

Supabase (hosted Postgres, authentication and file storage) stores accounts, listings, enquiries and listing photos.

Stripe processes card payments for paid plans. Homundi does not store the full card number.

OpenStreetMap and the Estonian In-ADS address service are used to show a map and to turn an address you type into coordinates. The query (the address text) is sent to those services.

When an AI key is configured, listing descriptions and photo labels are generated through Vercel AI Gateway by the configured model provider. The text and photos you submit for that step are sent to that provider. If no key is set, the site uses its own templates and does not call an AI provider.

Resend sends enquiry email when RESEND_API_KEY is set. Until it is set, the enquiry is stored and shown on the owner’s desk, and email is not sent.

Retention and your rights

Account and listing data stay while the account is open. You can delete a listing from your desk. An enquiry is kept so the owner can reply.

You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or a copy of your data, and you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). Write to hello@homundi.com.
